Joe 2 Morrow (J2M) is a musical duo from Missouri, comprised of longtime friends and collaborators Zach Morrow and Joey Ferber. Their music spans many genres, blending instrumental exploration with heartfelt songs that unite their wide range of influences. Having spent the past decade on opposite ends of the state, with Morrow firmly rooted in Kansas City as a top call drummer and Ferber a staple of the St Louis scene as a guitarist and songwriter, the two have found common ground in Columbia. Stepping out of the city has allowed them time and space to create soulful rhythms and elemental melodies that push the boundaries of traditional confines. Signed with Open Air Sound in 2025, they have spent the past year in the studio working on their new album: a reflection of their diverse experiences, from hip-hop, jazz, folk, roots, and the freedom that comes from 20 years of friendship. Growing up and playing together in St. Louis’ UCity public school system, their friendship that started in elementary school has grown and provided years of understanding that can be felt with each note. Although Morrow has been busy touring internationally with Aja Monet and Hermon Mehari, and Ferber with Blvck Spvde and The Cosmos and the Brothers Lazaroff - Joey and Zach are excited to show the world the music they have created.
